  • 5 1/2 oz chopped veal
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • 1/4 cup 2% plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp diced cucumber
  • 1/2 clove of garlic, very finely chopped
  • 2 tsp mint, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • 2 whole wheat pitas
  • Lettuce leaves to taste
  • 6 cherry tomatoes cut in halves

  1. Pre-heat oven to 230°C (450°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients of the keftas. Form little rolls with your hands (one roll per serving), then put them on a grill placed on a pan to allow the cooking juices to drain.
  3. Cook approx. 15 min. or until the veal is no longer pink inside.


  1. Meantime, make the tzatziki, mixing all the ingredients.


  1. Open the pitas and put tzatziki inside each half-pita. Garnish the pitas with lettuce and then add the small rolls and the cherry tomatoes. Enjoy immediately.
