  • 180 g (6 oz) raw ground turkey
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Dijon mustard
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) honey
  • 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) paprika
  • 1 ml (1/4 tsp.) tabasco or sambal oelek (if desired)
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 whole wheat kaiser rolls
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) mayonaisse
  • Lettuce leaves to taste
  • 1 sliced tomato

  1. Mix the turkey, mustard, honey, paprika, tabasco (if desired), green onion, and salt and pepper. Then make two patties.
  2. Cook the patties in a non-stick striated fry pan or on the barbeque for about 7 min. on each side or until the meat has lost its pink colour inside.
  3. Heat the rolls. Spread mayonnaise on them, add the patties and garnish with the lettuce and tomato slices.
