Ingredients

 

200 g raw ground turkey

½ onion, diced

20 ml (4 teaspoons) sweet relish

10 ml (2 teaspoons) Dijon mustard

60 ml (¼ cup) light cheese (less than 18% M.F.), grated

1 thin hamburger bun

30 ml (2 tbsp.) ketchup

4 tomato slices

2 lettuce leaves

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions


  • Mix the ground turkey with the onion, relish and mustard. Shape the mixture into a patty.
  • Cook the patty in a non-stick pan. Flip, add shredded cheese to the cooked side and cook until the cheese has melted and the patty is fully cooked.
  • Spread ketchup on half the bun, add tomato slices, lettuce leaves and the turkey patty.


Variation: Substitute turkey with ground veal.
