Ingredients

150 ml (2/3 cup) whole wheat flour

1 egg

80 ml (1/3 cup) 1% milk

80 ml (1/3 cup) 0 to 2% yogurt

60 ml (1/4 cup) quick oats

2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) vanilla extract

2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) baking powder

2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) baking soda

30 ml (2 tbsp.) brown sugar

1 banana, overripe

30 g chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 190 °C (390 °F)
  • Whisk together flour and egg, then add milk and yogurt. Mix until smooth. Add oats, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and brown sugar.
  • Cut banana into small pieces (or mash with a fork) and add to mixture. Add chocolate chips and pour into the muffin pan
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Freezable.
