EMOM is an acronym for “Every Minute On the Minute.” Is it an HIIT workout (High-Intensity Interval Training) consisting in completing a given number of repetitions at the start of each minute and then take the remainder of that minute to recover before moving on to the next exercise.
Your warm-up is the very first EMOM; it consists of simple medium-intensity moves with little repetitions. The session then progresses to various EMOMs that will prompt you to surpass yourself. A stretching period completes the workout.
EMOMs are considered high-intensity workouts designed for people who want to surpass themselves. Despite that, the workout can be adapted to various fitness levels thanks to the options your Instructor will share with you.
