Ingredients:
15 mL (1 tbsp.) soy sauce
15 mL (1 tbsp.) maple syrup
15 mL (1 tbsp.) fresh thyme
60 mL (¼ cup) water
150 g (5 oz.) firm tofu, in cubes
15 mL (1 tbsp.) olive oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped
10 mL (2 tsp.) fresh ginger, finely chopped
125 mL (½ cup) green beans
125 mL (½ cup) bell peppers, in strips
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Mix the first four ingredients together and add the tofu cubes. Marinate for a few hours.
In a large wok, heat the oil and brown the tofu cubes.
Remove from the heat and set aside.
In the same wok, stir-fry the garlic, ginger, green beans, and bell peppers. Place the tofu back in the pan; add salt and pepper and serve immediately.
