My name is Alexandre Dumas Simard. I am 22 years old and come from the Québec area. My journey began on April 26, 2017, a time when I weighed 348 lb. Here are the reasons why I decided to take action and why I succeeded:
Everything started in March 2017 during a trip to Cuba. Our hotel was hosting several activities that interested me—volleyball, badminton, aquatic sports, etc.—, but I had a hard time keeping up with the group. I was constantly short of breath, tired, and lacking energy. April 1, 2017, was the day I remember most clearly. I had just finished breakfast and was going up the stairs back to my hotel room. After two floors, I was out of breath and my heart was racing. Once in my room, I started getting ready to go to the beach. When I got up from putting my running shoes on, I felt extremely dizzy! It was in that moment that I remembered something my parents always used tell me: “When your body is saying something, listen.” It took me many years to finally understand what they meant.
When I got back from the trip, my mind was made up: I was going to start taking care of myself and my body! I visited several gyms, but their services and programs weren’t for me. When researching other solutions on the internet, I came across Énergie Cardio and decided to pay a visit to their Labourgneuf gym. I received excellent customer service, and their employee took the time to explain to me in detail each of their memberships and services. On April 26, I made the biggest and best decision of my life. I met my trainer, Kevin, and thanks to him, I got to where I am today: 100 lb. lighter. I used to wear size 48 pants, but now I sport size 36. And I’m not stopping there!
My success is the result of three factors: 1) I train three times a week with my trainer, 2) I don’t miss a single session, and 3) I changed my diet. Kilo Solution’s products were a big help as well.
