Group classes changed my perception of gyms.
These two photos were taken 15 months apart.
I joined the gym before August 2018, weighing slightly more than I do in the photo. By November 2019, I had lost 125 pounds and was much fitter, healthier and more confident.
This required a lot of discipline, perseverance and will. I believe these attributes are the key to success. I changed my diet and I eat much better. I completely changed my exercise habits and go to the gym three to four times a week.
BodyPump (158 sessions so far), Zumba (almost as many sessions as BodyPump—pretty unbelievable), and others—I never thought I would have loved the BodyPump and Zumba so much.
Group classes changed my perception of gyms. I was a little hesitant in joining the group classes but I fell in love with them immediately. The trainers, friendships and camaraderie in the classes are amazing.
The team at Énergie Cardio Verdun is incredible.
