Hot Chocolate and Nut Butter Smoothie

 

Do you think that a good smoothie has to be green and cold? Prepare to change your view with this perfect recipe for real treat following your exercise.

 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups of chocolate milk
  • 2 bananas, peeled and cut into chunks
  • ½ tsp. of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp. of your choice of nut butter (almond, peanut, cashew, hazelnut, sesame, etc.)

 

  1. Place all the ingredients in a mixer bowl. Mix until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a small saucepan. Heat the smoothie almost to boiling point, stirring from time to time. Serve immediately.

 

SUGGESTION:

For a caffeinated version, add one 30 mL (2 tbsp.) dose of espresso to your smoothie!
