Energizing Chocolate Milk Pudding

An easy and, above all, effective recipe! Don’t forget to add a few toppings of your choice.

 

Chia pudding

  • 500 mL (2 cups) chocolate milk
  • 15 mL (1 tbsp.) carob powder
  • 5 mL (1 tsp.) maca powder
  • 85 mL (⅓ cup) black or white chia seeds

Optional toppings

  • Grated or shaved coconut
  • Chopped nuts
  • Cocoa bean shavings
  • Berries (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, etc.) or banana slices
  • Ground cinnamon or cocoa
  • A drizzle of maple syrup

Preparation

  1. In a 1 L (4 cups) Mason jar, mix all the pudding ingredients. Shut the jar and shake vigorously.
  2. Chill in the refrigerator for eight hours (or overnight).
  3. Serve the chia pudding in bowls and garnish with your desired toppings.

Suggestion

Carob and maca powders can be found in the health aisle of grocery stores or in natural food stores.
